We built Poly because we think AI can help people do amazing things. But we also know privacy matters. Here's how we handle your data in plain language.

When you sign up, we ask for some basics like your email. When you use Poly, we also gather:

• Your chats with our AI assistants
• How you use the app (which features you like, how long you spend in conversations)
• Technical stuff like your IP address and device info

We use cookies too, small files that help remember your preferences and keep you logged in. You can block these in your browser, but some parts of Poly might not work as well if you do.

2. What We Do With Your Data

We mainly use your data to make Poly work for you, to remember your conversations, personalize responses, and keep improving the service. Here are some specifics:

Your chat history helps our AI assistants remember your previous conversations, so they can be more helpful and personalized. It's like how a good friend remembers what you talked about last time.

We also look at how people use Poly as a whole (not just you specifically) to make the product better. For example, if lots of people are confused by a certain feature, we might redesign it.

3. AI Training: How Your Chats Help

To make our AI assistants smarter, we sometimes use conversations to improve their responses. This helps them learn from mistakes and get better over time.

We try to remove personally identifiable information before using data for analysis.

Sometimes our team might review conversations if there's a specific issue to fix or if we need to investigate a problem. We don't do this routinely, only when necessary to improve the service or address concerns.

4. Who We Share Data With

We're pretty strict about this. We only share your data with:

• People who work at Poly (and only what they need to do their jobs)
• Service providers who help run our platform (like our cloud hosting provider)
• Authorities, if we're legally required to (like if we get a court order)

We make sure anyone who gets access to user data follows strict privacy and security rules.

Security is a big deal for us. We encrypt sensitive data, limit who can access it, and regularly check for vulnerabilities in our systems.

We keep your account information as long as you're using Poly. For conversations with our AI assistants, we store them so you can refer back to them later.

Want a fresh start? You can delete individual conversations or your entire chat history if you contact us.

• You can correct information that's wrong
• You can request we delete your data
• You can get a copy of your data
• You can tell us to stop using your data in certain ways

8. Kids and Poly

Poly isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from kids. If you're a parent and believe your child has created an account, let us know, and we'll take care of it.
